Nothing new, just left over from sometime last week. We've only had about 6 inches total. Colder than a witch's tit though. Thanks for asking.

I heard 100 inches in a week in parts of the snow belt there east of Erie. Because of the earlier warm weather the conditions are ripe because there's a fair amount of open water for the storms to feed on. 100 inches in a week is, gulp, a lot of snow.

As Mr. Dupere said, it's cold up here, but we've dodged the only major northeaster that might have made snow. I'm just as glad, but it's only early February.

Last April I was burnt to a crisp after working on the schooner for a month straight. The dern boat was drying out faster than I could put the finish on her.

They cancelled the baseball game in Tuscaloosa tonight because of icy rain (eeeewwww). Here I am 200 miles south of there and I wore shorts and a tee shirt all day. My azaleas officially began blooming today, and pretty much all of my flowering trees are out. It's spring down here, folks. We will have a few more weeks of hot and then cold temperatures, but it's spring.
