Did you also do the canvas work yourself?

Wish I could claim credit for the canvas work. I had it done at a local canvas shop. The plans called for a rather simple dodger, but the shop staff took it on as "fun" project and made a couple suggestions and did a great job.

Thats nice for a boat that size to be so sea/user friendly and that goes 35mph with a 90 hp. I know of 23 footers that will just do 35 with a 200.

pipefitter, Many locals here were skeptical about 90 hp for this boat. Minnesota is the land of 10,000 lakes and 1,000,000 aluminum fishing boats with 150 plus hp. I didnt want to go 50 mph as I would lose too many hats and who knows what else. I chose an Evinrude etec and so far am very happy. It's quiet, smooth, starts in 1/2 revolution. It "winterized" itself with its computer in about 90 seconds when I pulled it out today.Winter's a commin' and these lakes will be frozen solid within a few weeks.

I am seeing alot of the etec motors on boats at work too .All the owners have pretty much the same things to say about them as you. That's ok though, when the price of gas goes to 4-5.00/gal,I bet the big horse power thinking may change slightly.
Thanks for posting the pictures of the boat. I bet you are pleased.
