This is actually pretty cool ... even USA Today and others think it's neat!

Well, whaddaya know.... I'm a Centrist, just one grid square to the left of center.... which is where I would have put myself without taking the test.

On quizzes from libertarian leaning organizations, I usually score solidly libertarian. This one was no different. Although, I will point out that I'm a small "l" libertarian, the national party bearing the same name is whacked.
LJB would be proud of me

Liberal...no big surprise. While all of these quizzes are a gross simplification, this one seems even more so than the similar ones that have been posted here in the past that dug a bit deeper...

I was even one more grid closer to the top than Brian. But then, I already knew I was a small L libertarian.
Did you notice that they defined the terms "liberal", "centrist", "conservative", and "statist", but not libertarian?
Ooops? Probably not. Feel Free to define it yourself.

Hmmm...since the test shows me to be a 'very slightly left of center Centrist', does that mean I can rant about those godless liberals? :)

Me: 100/100, but that's today. My mood changes from time to time...
The do define libertarian, you must have missed it.
Libertarian
Libertarians support maximum liberty in both personal and
economic matters. They advocate a much smaller government; one
that is limited to protecting individuals from coercion and violence.
Libertarians tend to embrace individual responsibility, oppose
government bureaucracy and taxes, promote private charity, tolerate
diverse lifestyles, support the free market, and defend civil liberties.

According to the test, I'm liberal centrist with a slight libertarian bias.
I guess that's about right.

Exactly the same as Paladin. Center on the vertical scale (statist-libertarian) and slightly to the left of center on the horizontal scale. That's about where I would have guessed.

It is interesting! In past political campaigns, inspired by Reagan, conservatives were proud to wear that label. Maybe not so much anymore.

And to think I was once a registered Republican who voted for Ronald Reagan twice.

It says I am liberal. Perhaps only because I found the questions to be foolish:
"End 'corporate welfare.' No government handouts to business?"
Only if we allow no "individual welfare."
But we don't get to qualify our responses.

Foolish quiz.
