Hi Guys, Anyone ever build a Hartleys TS21? I am currently building one and would like to get a look at some building photographs, or any building information/tips. This my first attempt at building a boat. The Hartleys site does not contain much information on this craft. So anything would be great.

thanks

Kevin

Have you tried contacting the TS 18-21 Yacht Club website? If you can't find anyone who has specifically built the TS21 I'm sure there are many members who have built similar chined plywood boats (like me) who may be able to help

Kevin

I have not built a TS21 but am restoring a TS18.
A few sites are

http://www.users.bigpond.com/bpwales/

http://home.vicnet.net.au/~hart1821/welcome.html

My posting on the restoration of Sea Lark

http://media5.hypernet.com/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=1;t=008970

As the construction is similar for both the 18 and 21, if there is any questions please ask and I will try to provide the answer.

Jim

thanks for your help, "both Jims" I will have a look around the sites listed. I will post some pics shortly of my construction to date. Jim how old is Sea Lark? the timber work looks in good shape? What are the frames made from? I used Irish Oak hard as nails but should do the job.
By the way I have a set of Drawings for the TS18 (sent to me in error) if they are of any assistance you can have em. let me know!!

thanks again guys

Kevin
