The London Boat Show is openning tomorrow and I am going to have a look !!
Mostly Magic Plastic but there should be some stuff for classic wooden boats .
If anybody is specially interested in something particular I can have a look !
Make your request !!:D

I would be grateful if you could ask any propeller suppliers as to the status of RingProp (makers of ring propellers, now apparently in receivership).

Is anyone buying the assets? Does anyone have any HARD numbers as to the reality of the claimed improved "efficiency" of these beasts?

Have a good show.

Tony.

Spend the day at the Boat Show and was not at all impressed !!!!!
All plastic, only one small motor boat built in wood !!
Can't find nothing about Ringprop !!
So spend my time looking at various bit and pieces ....
Find a pair of small brass companionway lamps which will complement 4 I already find in an antiques shop in France 2 years ago. That was on a stall selling antiques bit and pieces for boats.( I get their address !)
If you are on the market for a decent set of oilskins , I recommend you have a look at the "Guy Cotten" range ,much cheaper but way stronger than "Musto", "Henry LLyoids".... That's what all these crazy frenchies on their big cats and tris used !!!
Apart from that , not much !!!
Sorry no pictures !!:o :o :o

The Guiness stand is usually world class schmoozing. Otherwise is been useless for decades.

Nice to see someone from Cornwall posting.

Thank you for the effort re: Ringprop. Sorry the show was a disappointment - these things do seem to vary one year over another.

Regards, Tony.
