That sucks. Heard a news report on the radio this afternoon saying 2 sailors "fell off" a sub off the coast of England. I was wondering how it could have happened, or if the reporter just was confused.

Thanks for posting this. Anyone know why they would have been working on the outside of the sub in bad weather like that?

Probably either doing repairs to comm gear or replacing/repairing anechoic tiling on hull surfaces.
