I want to share a few pics with those of you who've been interested when I've been braggin' 'bout my baby girl.
Yesterday Mackenna turned one year old. She walks(and runs), says Momma, Daddy:D , Sissy, Dodger(dodja), Storm(dorm), Thank-You(dankyo), and, as of today, Santa. She loves to eat beans of any kind and is terribly amused at what her butt does an hour later. "You Can't Catch Me" is her favorite game, with Peek-a-Boo running a close second. Her favorite friends are "her" doggies, Dodger and Storm. Her favorite toy is any of Daddy's Docksiders. And, apparently, she likes cake, Chocolate Cake!

"Is this for me?"

"Can I do This?"

"Hmmm, This is serious!"

"I'm sposed to do this?"

"Here Mommy! It's Gooood!"

"Not so funny on your nose, is it?"

"I'd like to thank all my fans."

Mack and I jumped in the shower together. Tonya got the kitchen. Daddy wins again:D

That girl is impossibly adorable. Seriously. A lot of kids are only cute because they are so mini, but she is genuinely adorable. I try not to smile or be happy often but those pictures just about broke me. :) Good on you and Merry Christmas to you and the 2 ladies.

Oh man, Some of my best memories are the simple things like playing Peek-a-Boo around the Oak trees in the yard with my boys when they were small, they are the best of times. Savor it like you savor a cool summer nights breeze. Those days go fast. Lock every moment in your minds eye.:)

eleseus, More than two ladies here! I'm outnumbered! Girl side- Tonya, Summer, Mackenna, Storm and and an unknown number of fishes. Boy side- Me, Dodger, and about three fishes. To tell you the truth, I'm hoping for a couple boy mice under the house!

Thank you Leon. Aside from Summer and Mack, my next oldest is 17 and I don't get to see my grandkids(from the other kids) much. I agree with you. Those simple games are my favorite times that I'll always carry with me.
