I eat a chicken occasionally. All this fear and loathing about camphlebacter(sp) and other pathogens has me thinking. I wash the chick before cooking, I don't like thigh meat done to 165 degrees. How dangerous is eating chicken that isn't cooked till it screams? It seems to me that as these bacteria are coming out of the gut the meat should be free of it after a rinse. Definately after even moderate cooking.
