refurb of 1959 gauges?

1959 40' ChrisCraft SeaSkiff. Gauges all work, but Chrome ring and faceplate are pitted and flaking. Have been focussing on below deck systems and boat will never be in a museum; however it's becoming a tourist stop as I overnight during coastal trips. Time to pretty her up a tad without breaking the bank. Any/all suggestions greatly appreciated.

Try a good clockmaker/clock repair shop. They refurbish clock faces often, which are not too different.

What Bob said. Failing that, look in Hemming's Motor News. Tons of people that will do that, some better than others, of course...
