It will be a glen l 14.
I'm building it in my back garden.
I've been accumulating tools and wood and books and magazines when I should have been working on my maths degree. But exams are over now so building can begin.
In case the maths degree should fool anyone, I'm in my thirties and working full time, the maths degree is half hobby and half work related.
Anyhow. Just saying hello.
I'll be reporting on my progress in a blog. Feel free to visit and add comments, it'll give me a nice warm feeling that someone's reading it.

I've had the plans for a long time now. I spent too much time reading over them, and the Glen L book on boat building with plywood when I should have been studing graph theory.
But thanks for the offer.
PS I'm already planning boat number two :)

All righty then.
Are you going to use their "templates"?

I'm pretty much starting with planks or oak and the set of full size plans and tracing paper.
I'm not sure what you mean by templates. I'm not starting with a frame kit if that's what you mean.

Good luck, I've started my build of a Glen-L Vera Cruise....

Not to change the subject but as I am interested in a small cruiser build I found this boat was listed on Ebay

That would be some project. A lot of damage shown including the transom area, but it could be done. You'd need to remove the fiberglass just to get to the wood and that will be one hell of a job.
Still, this is why we're here... mine is at the forms and frame alignment stage... the keel may be laid before Winter is out....
And just so you know, it's listed as a Vera Cruise on the site, but if memory serves it's a Monsoon... look at the bow:

I almost chose that one myself... they're good looking boats.
