Ash and Mohogany?
The wood is douglas fir, clear, air dried 3 years.
I live where there are mostly redwood trees and douglas fir,
some tanoak bay and walnut trees.

Jeese, Donald -- couldn't you have built a larger boat -- you've got several inches there between the end of the stem and the cement wall...
;- )
Looking forward to seeing this boat on the water next year!

Yeah - I hope I will be able to get tools in there to put on the plywood. Lucky things like that can happen. Maybe it could have something to do with naming the boat.

Donald, what are you building?
I am building a design and plans I got from D.N. Goodchild.
The name was 19ft. cruising sailboat
19ft. LOA, Beam 7 feet, centerboard. Weight about 750lbs.
Knockabout.

Well, when it gets time for turnover, put up some posts here and you'll probably lure several of us up to your mossy environs for a boat-rolling party.
Do you have a location in mind for splashdown -- the River or Lake Sonoma or ?

Sausalito! Ah one of my favorite towns! When the time comes we'll come and help you roll the boat; or at least bring the grog.
