I voted for the boat because:

1. It is a public poll and others (SWBO) can see the way I voted.
2. The boat will cost less over my life time.
3. Wood boats get better looking with age (if maintained).
4. The boat doesn't nag about me spending money on the boat.
5. If you want a different boat you don't have to pay alimony.

:D :D :D :D :D :D

If money were no object, airplanes; though some boats aren't much cheaper. Can't loop or roll a boat... not without heartache, anyway. You can, however, anchor a boat in the water and still enjoy it sitting still. Kinda hard in a plane. I have shut the airplane engine down before, but that limits the amount of "floating" time. And one needs a measure of precision for that to end well. So far, so good.

Is that a cell phone in Joe's right hand? I can't quite see, but it looks like a dangerous place for it.

Otherwise, wish I were there. Beats workin'

Must be a pretty dry boat, unless that's a bubble pipe.

Um Chad..... this might have a little something to do with why boats are taking the lead. ;)

I don't know... Joe's beginning to look like a cross between Bruce Willis and Alfred Hitchcock.:p

Or some old porn guy  :D

(I change my vote to helicopters. Got a ride on one this summer and it was a blast. Now if I can just get a ride on one with lapstrake floats....)

I've heard plenty of talk about ground effect craft. I didn't know anyone was actually building them.

Yep, been around for a while. Soviets built one, just a wee bit bigger...
