Classic boat regattas

Can anyone suggest good places to look for regattas that might have classic boat divisions in northern Europe, France to Scandinavia?

I can give you a few links to Scandinavian classic clubs, but you will find them here. Along with a load of others.

You might want to look at the link for "member clubs" and write directly to the classic club in the country/area the interests you. The clubs are more active than the 'international cooperation' club.

True and the question remains why I always post when anything classic boat related shows up in Germany or Denmark in the WBF and you haven't noticed it David?

The best thing to do is to start with the "Freundeskreis Klassische Yachten" (FKY). That is an internetbased virtual club for classic boat enthusiasts (more than 500 boats listed). They operate a very established internet-site with all essential information about classic boat sailing.

There are however some events no covered by them, since they very much yachts orientated. If you are interessted in other big traditional sailing events (tallship meetings, working boat meetings...) in germany and Denmark feel free to contact me.
