Working ALL DAY

Yup, when I was 42, I was still working too.
When I was 42, so long ago
I didn't have time to sail the ocean blue.
Those who could and those who did
Were way too few.

Now when I turned 47, thought I had gone to heaven
Bought a boat that could barely float.
So, spent some time and more than a dime all because I was 47 and
Had gone to heaven..

Now that I am 53, I consider myself free.
All because I bought a boat that could barely float,
He still needs work and always will.
But he has given me a chance
To go to sea and just be me..

Of course, now you have a boat to support! :)
Cheers Joe and Happy happy!

Belated birthday greetings, Joe! If I'm understanding the posts correctly, it was 'yesterday' - Sept.16. We were at my nephew's wedding yesterday - so there ya go! Joe's BD and a beautiful wedding on the same day. Now I'll remember both!

Got the Yellow - should I have gotten the red one too :D ?

Depends whether it was a " red letter day " and ya pulled in some big deal in the realestate business. :) On such a day, ya might want to wear red.
On the other hand, the yellow matches the crocs..Nothing more important than being color coordinated when yachting.
Actually, I like the red...and ummm my birthday is coming up...ummm.

Ya, but the yellow is better for when ya fall overboard (better chance of seeing you bob around in the briney when you're in the yellow ones).....that is, IF someone comes lookin' fer ya!

What did I miss?
Who said anyone would be looking for ya if ya wore the red ones?
I am sure that no one would be looking for me.
