View Full Version : So the boat leaks a little...

...no problem. Whittle a plug with materials at hand.

I thought there was more water getting in than a little ole 3/16" hole would admit. Gack! There was two. But the bilge is dry now so I guess we'll head for a bigger lake....

I had to don sunglasses to view the post, that reflexion is about as bright as Capt. Jon's on Sea Fever.

I thought Nora was talking about the reflection from the varnish! Don't worry Norm, what I tell 'em is that grass doesn't grow on a busy street.

Well, see. It like on any city garbage dump there is a lush growth of weeds. But, on the bald peaks of the Rockies is where you find the gold and silver.

Norm, hair doesn't go away, it just migrates, but don't tell 'em that. They'll find out when their wives start with the gorilla jokes. Remember that old Brylcream jingle? 'She'll love to run her fingers through your hair.....on your back'. http://media5.hypernet.com/~dick/ubb/smile.gif

I'm not losing hair, I'm just growing more face. Of course, it's tough for me to justify that statement since it's comin' off the top faster than the front.

Glad to hear that all leaks are accounted for, Norm. Does the Chesapeake qualify as a "bigger lake"? http://media5.hypernet.com/~dick/ubb/smile.gif

you know if you are bald in the front you are a lover. Bald in the back means you are a thinker. Bald in the front and back....you just think you are a lover. http://media5.hypernet.com/~dick/ubb/smile.gif

As I tell my kids.... it's a solar panel for a ????? .... obviously not a memory bank!
My grandmother used to say to my Dad.."Bob, grow a beard and pull your head in!"
I reckon that I'm just too good looking to need hair.

Capt. Jon and his boss were crossing from one building to another, here at Riverwind ( an apt complex & health club that Jon maintains) and it is pouring rain. Bossma npens an umbrella and turns to Jon, and asks him if he has applied his Rainex (sp?)

Maybe it would work as a built in fowl weather system????? http://media5.hypernet.com/~dick/ubb/confused.gif
