anybody got an internet resource (other than the obvious ones) for this topic? information , lines , builders etc. seems to be scanty.
searched cogg, cogge, coggette, urry brothers ...

One of Roger Taylor's Still Yet 20 More Good Boats, by whatever title, has both Newick's sorta Cogge as well as a couple by a designer he considered more authentic. you might start there and find your own designer who can make something that fits your fancy.

i got that one reference only, but i really NEED a hit, tis a tough one to find on the net. may get on some serious hardcore research, i believe mr taylor had a difficult time himself. any WB research staff consider this as an article or project for an inturn?

Try calling Roger Taylor (WoodenBoat Magazine would know how to reach him) - he is very easy to talk to - or he was 10 or 15 years ago. The 50' Cogge ketch designed by the Urry brothers is, I think, the most beautiful sailboat ever designed.
