This Saturday there will be an auction of the assets of Scotia Trawlers in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, lotsa tools big and small, white oak lumber, teak etc.
Listing in todays Halifax Chronicle Herald.

'fraid so Carl.This is all part of the parent company's,(Clearwater Fine Foods),plan to divest themselves of their holdings in Lunenburg.Fortunately,the Province has stepped in to assist in the purchase of a number of the buildings along with the Town of lunenburg and a citizen's group.This will give the town more control of who the properties go to,with an eye to maintaining the working marine heritage somewhat intact.Trying to keep the developers and condos at bay.
Unfortunately the Scotia Trawler property is on the block and Clearwater has ordered the auctioning of the assets.Looks to be lots of equipment,tools,machinery as well as some white oak and mahogany.I may take a run down tomorrow morning but I imagine it will be a zoo.Lots of memories.
Anyone else going?Bring the cheque book.
