I'm seeking information about Fred Goeller's 14 foot gaff sloop "Sea Mew" I came across a reprint of an article from 1916 about the boat on the Duckworks website and she looks like an appealing little craft. Anyone know anything about how she performs, any recent builders, owners, etc.? How about a source for plans?

Thanks.

btw - here's the Duckworks link http://www.duckworksmagazine.com/04/s/designs/seamew/index.cfm

Brian, Sea Mew is in a copy of the Rudder, Nov 1914 issue. Mystic Seaport has these copies and writing them should generate what you want. I wrote them back in May and received the photostats in late July. Don't expect quick service. The article contains lines, offsets, sail plan and construction notes. Best Wishes.

Mystic has the plans. Call the ships plans dept. and tell them that they are in the RUDDER collection. John England of Urbana VA. built one for someone a few years back that was recently for sale.

Google "Goeller Sea Mew" for a link to see photos of this boat.
