Over the years folks seem to change quite a bit in appearance while others don't. Joe I'm using you as an example. Here is a photo of Joe than and now.

and here is a collection of me.

I essentially look the same now as I did than. I wonder why some folks change so drastic in their apperances while others stay basicly the same.

ps if you can't tell I'm bored with drawing and buying a little time till lunch

I just think that it is odd that my physical appearance has not changed that much over the years. Folks that knew me back than recoginize me right away.

Mmmmm.... pretty risky posting your passport on the internet, dontcha think? Next time there's a terrorist attack, it could be YOU! Ya neva know! (I also think it's probably illegal to photocopy, photograph or otherwise reproduce a passport.)

Be careful guys!

Dave If I stay clean shaven and don't take off my ball cap folks tell me it takes 10 years off of my age.

So that means if I'm 22 and I wear a hat I look 12.:D ;)

Well that than photo, the profile, was taken in 1991. Over 15 years ago. I'll see if I can find an older photo to scan in.

Seems to be mostly just a matter of how you wear your hair.

I had to get a new driver's license photo taken this time. The last one was from my 21st birthday. Damn, but I look different! (and no, I'm not posting them).

I grew about 5" and have gained 80 pounds since high school. When I was still playing baseball in my early 30's my weight was as low as 206 pounds, but for the most part of my adult life I have been between 235 and 255 pounds.

I think that that's most of it. The majority of my friends who have changed physically have done so mainly because of weight fluctuations. Just changes the way that you look and carry yourself. My friends who were thin as young adults and are still thin look almost identical to the way that they looked 30 years ago. Those of us who have gained considerable weight do not. For one thing I think that we tend to look much older.

I have a friend who I have known since we were teenagers. I swear that she looks no different at all. She has not gained one pound (and has had three kids) and if she has any wrinkles or gray in her hair I don't see them. It's like she is frozen in time. I saw one of her sisters the other day for the first time in years and did not recognize her at all.

Didn't get a chance to dig through old photos to find one to scan in yet. Maybe tonight.

Even though I've put on about 19 lbs since 1990 and lost a little bit more hair, I still look the same as I did in high school. Well I do have a few more tatoos also.

Damn it, Joe, now I got coffee to clean up, again.

Chad, I got to agree with Mickey's commentary on weight. I graduated High School at 6', 135 lbs. I graduated college at 6'3", 165. 30 years old, I was 6'4", 200 pounds. After blowing out my ankle 10 years ago, I now weigh 255. I can really see the difference 120 pounds makes in my overall appearance.

Then again, as Indiana Jones said, "It's not the years, it's the mileage." Some of us are pretty high miles, I guess!

I got some pretty rough miles on me also, but maybe it is like a new car vs an old car. You get one scratch in a new car and it changes it. One scratch in an old beat up car makes no diffrence.

So maybe instead of starting out looking like a new car, I started life looking like an old car.

Lost a bet with Beowolf when the Lady Vols played Mich State. Don't worry he has shot of him wearing a Falcons jersey when they beat the Lions.
