I have been searching for informations on Chris Craft Cavalier Cutlass 22 ft Dory that was in production in past 1964-70.

It is a wooden built boat of 22 ft loa, clinker topsides, inside built engine and small cuddy cabin.

Unfortunatelly there are so little data on this boat on a web that I decided to ask this forum's people to help.

I am looking for any technical informations possible, pictures, brochures etc.

Regards
Ivan

Ivan, that was a very popular model of Chris Craft, and a good performing boat as well. You should contact the Mariners Museum in Norfolk VA (they are on the web), as they have all the historical Chris Craft documentation and all the original 'build cards' for every Chris Craft boat built. If you send them the hull number of your boat they will tell you everything about it (when built, where shipped, options, etc).

The Cutlass was actually from the Cavalier division ... with ply lapstrake construction.

There was about 350 boats made over that time ... IIRC, most were of the 22' variety.

The base engine was a 283/185 and the 327/210 was optional.

Neat boats that still look good today.

They had a cuddy that slept two plus a WC ... nautolux decks (from factory) and were very sea-worthy.

Do a search ... there are plenty for sale around.

I LOVE the lines of that boat!!

Brad

Check out Mariner's museum ...

1964-1968 was the production run for the original Cutlass.
