For some reason I can't get the camera and computer to talk. I think the latter is too busy doing the scanning...

Third time's the charm (let's hope). Keel pattern is done, top of the timber is ready to have the lines traced out on it. All I'll need then is sufficient guts to pull the trigger...

OK, OK

Crazy, awful week... Watermain in front of house broke, water pipe inside house broke, SWMBOjr left (arrived at first destination today about 11:30 our time, whew), crazy classes (it's money, honey), and a tragic funeral. Not much else can happen, I guess.

Dowel in foreground and 'stick' in background represent aft end and forward end, repectively. The brown spots (unpainted) are bits I don't want; I think I've navigated around them all. Now to trace the outline and pull the trigger. Dont' know if it's going to happen this week (not the next looks all that much better but, it's money honey).

Good to see this happening again, Ed. Go ahead, pull the trigger. Just leave a little where you're not sure because it's not easy to put it back when it's gone. If the pattern came from a shrunken original, you'll get a surprise when you fit the new one.
