Have been using an oxygen concentrator (a really cool molecular filteration device) connected to the bi-pap machine for sleep for almot a year. It can also be used during the day.

I also have a walking pack with ~1100 minutes of O2 and several spare tanks.

The idea that I'm going to have to start using O2 full time bugs me bad. Hopefully, it's just a temporary situation caused by a mild respiratory infection.

It's a pain in the ass, I know Meer.
Beats the other options.
With the C-pap I'm sleeping well again.
I tolerate the Darth Vader Jokes now because I'm not crabby from not sleeping.

Sounds like you're using a full face mask. I started with one of those, but changed to what's called a "nose pillow," wich is just like a nasal cannula with a little chamber attached. I like it better than the full face mask.

Yup full face mask and I'm gonna hafta shave my beard off according to my doctor! Too much leakage. Just got a new mask so I'll have to wait a few months to switch to something else. These are really minor problems compared to not sleeping. Counting my blessings.
Hang in there Bro.

O2 level should be 95 or higher. 90 is Ok. Under that.... :(

Did you give up smoking ---- a no answer will prompt me to fly to Seattle and beat the living feces out of you, so you won't neend an oxygen counter.

Meerkat - that does not sound good.

On a technical point - what are the units for these numbers?

I don't know exactly what the units are, but I guess it's % of total possible saturation.
