First in 11 years + at my current job.

High marks. Bosses were real pleased with the work I've done as a project manager. One boss said he didn't think I could do the job (relationship with clients) and the other said he knew I could do the job but was worried about me being a little caustic with clients. They both said I proved them wrong and was doing an outstanding job. By the end of the month I will get my raise and bonus check.

Joe when you find a good thing, you stick with it. I sometimes grip about work, but keep in mind I grip about some of the folks I have to deal with or with clients, never about the work or the bosses. These guys are great, salt of the earth type.

When I put a new engine in my truck they let me use the shop here at the office and let me drive a company truck in the meantime. When I went to the boss and explained to him that I had a lot of National Guard time coming up and told him that I knew it was a lot to ask, he told me "It is a lot we ask of you to be in the National Guard." When I needed to spend a week living in the hospital waiting room for Mom they told me to take all the time I needed.

They have given me the chance to be all that I can be here and for that they have my loyallity.

I've never been one to do much job hopping. I worked at Wendy's for 3 years while just out of high school and trying to find my direction in life. I spent 5 years in a sweat shop trying to better myself. When I took this job I had been going to night school to learn AutoCad. My instructor recomended me to this company. They brought me in to do AutoCad and to set the company standards on how we used AutoCad. I was given free reign to bring this company into the 21st century. I brouht us from 2 individual work stations to the network system that we have now.

I learned a long time ago that you treat your people well and they will take care of you. My boss treats me well, so I do what I can to take care of him.

I was wondering about that just the other day. I'm down to 3 more books in my stack to read.

Then you'll be up to 14. What can I say, I'm a procrastinator.
