I WOULD LIKE TO CHANGE THE DESIGN IF MY CENTERBOARD AND IN DOING SO I ALSO WOULD LIKE TO ADD ABOUT 150 LBS OF BALAST IN THE TIP.
I WAS READING AN ARTICLE ABOUT A BOAT THAT HAD A NACA AEROFOILED TIMBER CENTERPLATE WITH 150 LBS OF BALAST IN THE TIP, WHICH IS WHAT I'AM LOOKING FOR. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT THIS LOOKS LIKE AND HOW IT'S CONSTRUCTEDAND WHERE I CAN LOOK IT UP>?

Try this link for lots of general info on constructing foils.

As far as adding the lead, (150 lbs, what kind of boat are you sailing?) try this link from Jim Michalak's Boat Designs. The article is about imbedding weight into a kick up rudder, but it may give you some ideas for a centerboard.

Though for that much weight, you may want a more mechanical method of attachment.

I have a 15 foot overnighter sloop with a centerboard about 150 pounds. Its a single piece of half inch steel plate, galvanized - strong, heavy, simple.

The Ross 6.50 tralier sailer Australian owners association web site has very good instructions for making a NACA 10% foil shape by hand.

There are a lot of boats around with 100's of pounds ballast in the bottom of their boards.

Use google.com to search. One of the sharpie builders has done a ballasted board and writen it up with lots of pictures.
Ah I have found the link I was looking for.

Most racing trailer sailers in this part of the work us ballasted dagger boards. (New Zealand)

Good luck building

What are the general dimensions of the centerboard?
