Great boat and great project, happy sailing ahead. When you are flush with your first millions, think about redoing the cabin top and sides, as in using varnish - a beauty like would preen under it.

Agreed. At least in the not-too-distant-future I want to replace the bland wood grabrails with small bronze stantions/bronze bar gradrails. I have bits like nice big toe rails and cabin trim ready to be put on (they were removed and never replaced when she was re-decked). And I would really like to take advantage of the fact that it has solid mahogany sides with some varnishin'. More toil and pain! :D
