I was looking at " Canoecraft by Ted Moores , one drawing is of Walter Dean's Sunnyside Cruiser Canoe .

Just wondering if anyone has built or paddled it. The hull is rather rounded so it looks fast and lively . No seats are shown so it looks to be designed for kneeling rather than having elevated seats.

I made a set of forms for one and even bought a bundle of rather expensive strips for it but that's as far as I got.
I wanted one because I liked the looks.
Hope someone chimes in with a critique.

Not sure which revision of Ted's book you have but suggest that you take a look at the "Revised and Expanded" Edition published in 2000.. Several changes in construction steps since the earlier version (1980?).

I am currently working on a B N Morris 17'.
