Swmbo and I are off to P-Town for a 3 day weekend. She is doing her whale watches and I am loafing on the bike . Any nautical events taking place this weekend on the Cape?

I just sailed back from Provincetown this afternoon. Summer really hasn't hit the town yet. Still pretty quiet. The Portuguese Festival is this weekend. Lots of good food, music and the Blessing of the Fleet. It's a good weekend to go.

Be sure to dine at "The Lobster Pot".
Great little place with the best seafood I've ever had.
I was there last in 1975 but I understand the place is still open.

Stay out of the Gay bars.(just a suggestion)
Large gay population in P-town.

is on South Street in Hyannis....worth a look. They have one of their summer lecture series events going on Sat, and the catboat SARAH is under construction...small outfit, but growing. Nice folks.
