Hello All. I have been away for a year or so. But my Poulsbo Boat is ready to go into the water. And I built a modified superlight Nymph to tow behind. Need it to go ashore and for carrying my stuff. My question today is how do I make the search feature of the forum work. It always worked for me in the past but the last few days I can't get anywhere. And I need to look something up. So HELP. Dirk

It's temporarily out of order.

Got pics of the Poulsbo?

Yes, there are lots of pics. We just need to be able to use the "search" and you'll find them. The "My Boat" thing is also gone I found out. Thanks for your reply. I'll patiently wait. Too bad they don't let us know. I searched and searched and searched but every time drew a blank. Now they should let us know when it is fixed. Dirk.

Search has been temporarily out of order for a bit. Google seems to work though; it pulls up results from the forum mixed in with those elsewhere on the web. The forum threads that google displays have web addresses that start with "www.woodenboat-ubb.com/cgi-bin ...". Perhaps Scot can put a note on the search page stating this or link it through google somehow? Then he would not have to support a separate search function.

Will.

I just did Google with "woodenboat ubb walcheren poulsbo boat" and came up with this
web page (http://www.woodenboat-ubb.com/cgi-bin/UBB/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=1&t=006543&p=)

Is this your boat? It looks pretty neat.

Will.

Thanks guys. So I am not alone. The web page suggested shows the frames of a catspaw done about 12 years ago. It is long since finished and sits in my yard. She still looks gorgeous and I take her for a row on the lake so now and then. My Poulsbo is my salt water boat.

Hi again. I tried Poulsbo Boat, "Panza" her name in the way suggested. I do get the web sites-3-but fail to open them. What a pain. What I really want to search for is info on red lead paint as my friend is building a Hercules. I used red lead on my Poulsbo and now we have to decide red lead or what else is there for inside bilge and so forth. When I look into all those old wooden fish boats here they all show thar nice looking red lead. Toxic as hell?? Dirk
