Took Sunday off and went for a drive along tree covered country roads with SWMBL. We flipped a coin for left or right at every stop sign. Looked at garage sales (didn't buy anything), had some great road food at a four corners "Hun, if I was you, I wouldn't have the pork tenderloin today" country diner (open faced hot roast beef on wonder bread, real mashed potatoes, smothered in brown gravy), stopped and bought two quarts of strawberries ("I just picked these an hour ago"), baked up an old fashioned shortcake, had a huge piece piled high with the strawberries still warm from the sun topped with whipped cream for supper (not dessert, supper!). Life is Good.
