Groco model D head

any of you guys ever hear of these? I just got one with my new bronze pulpit.

It apparently was made in the 50's and has a(I think) 4 inch bronze piston in it.

well, I bought the pulpit on ebay, but I got the head while I was all the way down in North Carolina.

Can't comment on the model "D", but Groco heads were good quality stuff.
