All you Mississippi guys
The manager just told me today that instead of going to Smrya Tenn. for 3 weeks, I'm being sent to the Mississippi plant in Canton. All my playmates are still going to Smryna so I'm really not overly pleased with this change, but am determined to make the best of it. My main question is, what is there to do that is fun (and preferably legal) down by Jackson. I'd rather not spend my evenings bored to tears watching pay per view in the hotel.Pet photography, the degree you get when you fail aromatherapy - Duck D.Tags: None -

There's a real nice shopping mall, Northpark Mall, east of I#55 - take exit 103 (County Line Rd). Also lots of good restaurants in that area. More good restaurants on either side of the frontage roads on either side of I#55 a little further south (like Chillies)(good margaritas).
Lefleur's Bluff State Park (and museum) is on Lakeland Dr. exit 98 just east of I#55. Nice restaurants further out Lakeland too.
Couldn't tell you much about the night life. I live in north Mississippi, and besides, I'm a semi-old guy who doesn't particularly care about night-life anymore. The only reason I know this much is from visiting my daughter who lives there. She could tell you alot more. If you would like to call her, email me for her number. She would be glad to help. She is a teacher and her husband is a resident at University of Mississippi Medical Center Hospital. Hope all this helps.
