Airstream forums (Google what else) are a very useful resource for any questions about 12v systems, storage batteries, propane. A lot things found on boats are the same as those on Airstream trailers. The forum design is pretty much the same as WBs. The people are the same too-helpful, patient and very knowledgeable. A fair number live and travel in their 'land yachts year round so they really live with their systems everyday.
Just thought I'd share that.

Ah-yep... any Camping World, the WestMarine of motorhomes, if there's one near ya, is a goldmine of stuff useful on a boat, at about half the price! Dunno why their par pressure water system pump is half what the boat outfits want for it, but it is! Particularly good for anything to do with freshwater plumbing, even heads, heating, 12VDC and 120VAC electrical systems, galley systems and all that.

Not wishing to gum up anyone's works, but a lot of that stuff isn't corrosion proofed to the same level as marine stuff. I've read more than a few tales about the rapid rusting out of RV stoves in marine environments for example.
Speaking of trailers :D :D Funny! (http://www.missouritrailertrash.com/)

I'm so tired of being ripped off. Around $10k for a Wallas stove? I could redo my kitchen with all new european appliances for that.

I have a 32' Airstream 'Land Yacht' and there are some good bits and some really crappy bits that went into the construction.
I was really just suggesting that the people who have them and drag them all over the place have lots of 12v, propane etc. experience with the systems.
I've bookmarked the trailer trash site. Where do you guys find this stuff?
