Basically what's the difference between epoxy resin and epoxy glue?

Epoxy resin + epoxy hardener=epoxy glue

I mix my epoxy glue by mixing resin, hardener, and glue powder which is a thickening agent that minimises runs and helps gap filling properties.

Spray,

Thanks, but the resin I've bought (Vosschemie Soloplast) includes one can of resin and one smaller can of hardener...

Glue can be made out of epoxy resin by adding a filler to thicken the mixed resin/hardener. I normally use wood flour on wood but many things can be used...from talc and limestone powder to common flour. The difference is in the sanding. The harder the filler the harder the sanding. Wood flour is a happy medium for me :D .

IMO The best short review of epoxy chemistry and techniques is System Three's "Epoxy Book." You can download it as a not-too-large .pdf at their website here: http://www.systemthree.com/index_2.asp although you have to register. It's no more technical than necessary, applies to just about everybody's epoxy, and will tell you pretty much all you need to know about the subject to stick things together effectively.

Okay, I'll dig in.
