Needed to do some work on the hull of the Chris, but it was sitting too far back on the trailer.
No problem...Just hitch up the Suburban and move the boat and trailer two feet forward...
...Jack up the rear of the trailer, block up the transom using my trusty steel beer barrels and some two-by scrap...
...Then jack up the front of the trailer and block up the forward keel on a piece of channel steel, two jack-stands and a couple of cement blocks and some more two-by scrap...
...Then lower the trailer so the boat is left sitting up on the blockings...
...Hitch up the Suburban again, and move the trailer eighteen inches back...
...Then jack up the trailer until it lifts the Chris off of the transom blocks...
...Remove the beer barrels, etc. ...
Lower the trailer...
...and on...and on...and on...
