The data miner/ tracking variety, not chocolate chip.
I get at least 4 cookies every time I sign onto the WBF. Why?

Try deleting them all and you'll find out why. They keep track of things like your last viewed post in various threads and forums, so the program knows what's new to show you, they remember your password so you don't have to log on every time you post, and so on in that vein.

I delete them all every day, and I never have to re-log on.

Then you only THINK you delete them all. Or you use a browser with an auto-loggin feature.

I use Ad-Aware by Lavasoft... And I dunno about auto loggin, but I just hit my lil favorites button, and here I am...

Ad-aware never messes with my login cookies either--perhaps they're from some other aspect of the site--the store or MyWoodenBoat or something.

If the cookies are from Lefty, they probably didn't rise correctly.

Ad-aware doesn't delete all your cookies, just the ones it knows are bad. If you want to view your cookies you can see them from the tools menu in your browser. Which browser are you using?
