Any recomendations?

SWMBO want's a new one (old one's about 25 yrs)
Yea it's "her job" to do the lawn cause no one ever met her standards, and the youngest was the only one smart enough to say "well maybe you should do it yourself mom" and that was 10 years ago; so we have had lawn peace ever since and she gets some exercise.

I have a Black and Decker. It seems to work well.

I like the rechargable ones ... I think black and decker makes one ...

It was a single-balde, plug-in mower. Don't know if they still make it.

The single-blade types are lots tougher than the twin-blade models.

A plug-in electric mower is the ONLY way to go for a walk-behind push mower.

Check out the Brill 380ASM Accu mower:

I have the Brill Luxus 38 -- the manual version of the above. It rocks.

Blades don't need sharpening, except about every five years or so (they claim eight, but...)

Light, easy to push, etc., etc. I've had no real problems mowing through 2-3 ins grass even with the manual model. Barely work up a sweat.

Safe, too. You won't be throwing rocks w/a reel mower.

The germans got it right.

My next mower is going to be one of those that looks like a giant ladybug and goes around by itself.
