I will be looking at the following boat. The owner doesn't know what it is and I'm curious. He thinks she was built about 1930. Carvel planked. 15' long. Cabin might have been added later. He says it's tight below the waterline but needs to be recaulked above. Deck MIGHT need to be replaced, refinished for sure. Sails are fair, no patches.

How tough would this be to launch off the trailer? (I have Suburban to pull it)

He's asking $600 USD, is he in the right ballpark?

General thoughts?

Thanks for your comments, I appreciate it!

Tom

Island Tom, if you are looking for the duplicate thread you posted earlier, it is in "misc. boat related", and already has a number of responses. Go to the "hop to" box at the bottom of the screen.

No need to post the same thing in different sections, it's all the same folks in any case.

the trailer...is worth nothing....the boat is worth what you make it into....all wooden boats should be free.....because of your time and effort put into it ...you will go nuts unless you have it in your heart....something about this boat caught your eye......but be careful...some boats are worth far less than nothing
