I'm going, yahoo. I'm going to be driving a support boat. It's a Cat (amaran). That will be a new experience. Somewhere I have the T shirt for Sailing week # 13, this is # 39 (steps?).

May get to do some racing too . I'm looking forward to seeing old friends: Kong, Lester, Green, Carl and who knows .

Sorry (not really) that I won't be able to make the Mystic EBS

Look for the "Maggie B", Covey Island's latest creation. She's a beauty - a schooner designed by Nigel Irens. Traditional looks at first glance, but closer inspection reveals some pretty slick technology. He owners recently were in Bermuda but were expected to go to Antigua for the show.

It's a cold hard thankless task - but someone's got to do it.

Yeah. What he said.
Poor devil... I feel sorry for you. Like to sit in an office in the south pacific autumn drizzle instead?:)

YOu inspired me to look into taking Handybilly over --at least for the classics regatta (the week after next!)--only about a hundred and thirty or forty miles. Smack on the head. I could cross to St Thomas/John, then creep up to Virgin Gorda, then leap across to St Martin and over to Antigua....Hmmmmmmmmm.........need more gas cans......

Getting back, you'll wish whe was a sail boat. In sailing weeks of yore they had classics and Maxi's and race boats and racer cruisers all bunched together. It's sort of a pity that they filtered the classics into their own week. I'm supporting a Swan 48 called "Avocation" and driving an ex moorings Cat'. Look out for me. Gareth

How about Saba, St Kiitts Antigua, that would save you going North.
