I just purchased a 1957 chris craft cavalier plywood boat. It has sat in a garage for 15 years, but appears to be solid. I would like to get it out on the water to sort it out prior to beginning a refinish. The seams appear to be tight, the largest gap in one side of the keel of about one sixteenth. I would feel more comfortable sealing this with something before taking it out. Any suggestions? I ran a hose inside the boat for a while and it drips out pretty good. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
