I know, wipe off the wrack and ruin, and have a look. I know, I know, we've got some wankers. I don't know anyone who don't

If you look at English, Western, they make better than others. Not sure why.

30. All bumbling conjurers, clumsy squires, no-talent bards, and cowardly thieves in the land will be preemptively put to death. My foes will surely give up and abandon their quest if they have no source of comic relief.

Shamus,,do you think a sober person would say:

If you look at English, Western, they make better than others. Not sure why.

The English-western european culture, since the enlightnment, has had the most success at one technology, that of stable governments promoting order, technological innovation, production, and individual freedom. (and please lets not hear about the crusades and the inquisition and Hitler, please).

I fear we'll lose that as a large segment of our population has rejected the enlightenment, disparages humanism and secularism, and calls openly for theocracy.

America has the potential for leadership, but for some reason does not use it.
