Talk to it...ask it to go away. If that doesn't work, you'd better shoot it.

Hot compress (facecloth in hot water, rinse, repeat) at least 2x/day for 5 minutes. Dry. Apply Bacitracin antibiotic ointment. Don't bandage.

You could also just soak your butt in a hot bath. ;)

Having bicycled approx. 13,000 miles in Europe in my youth...I can't even imagine what it would be like to ride a bike with a boil on the butt...Then again, with all of the friction etc...that boil would not have to pierced....it would break on its own...even without a nurse...
OUCH!!!!!

Uncas, Yes they are. We used to get people coming into our backpacking shop wanting snake bite kits. We would explain how dangerous and ineffective they were and that we didn't carry them. Most would ignore us, get pissed off and go down the street to the army surplus store to buy one. You can't save people from themselves.....

If it starts to speak, cut it off and send it to the republican party.

Assuming a real health question, what Kevin said. A hot bath soaked in salts can bring a boil out.

Leaving them go can be a bother, especially if you are sitting on your ass all day. They fester, they hurt. Better to be proactive.

Get one of those half gallon containers of Epsom salts. Just who was Epsom? Make a bath as hot as you can stand it. Pour in the container and sit in it. Then relax. The magic of the Epsom will do its work.

"This natural mineral, discovered in the well water of Epsom, England, has been used for hundreds of years, not only to fertilize plants but to treat a range of human and animal ailments. Who hasn't soaked sore feet in it at least once? Chemically, Epsom salts is hydrated magnesium sulfate (about 10 percent magnesium and 13 percent sulfur). Magnesium is critical for seed germination and the production of chlorophyll, fruit, and nuts. "
