Oh, I know that's a fact and they use the forum for their sick diversions and their petty little arguements.

Some folks just like to fight all the time. Especially when it won't get em punched in the nose.

Meer, Fishing season doesn't end - ever! Ya just gotta change yer tactics, ie: ya might gotta chop a hole in the ice. I used to fish ice tourneys every year in Upstate NY with my BIL. Always ate good, had a few beers and placed well. The only thing I miss about that place.

Not likely. There are any number of people here that are too smart to spend all that money on trying to outwit something with a brain the size of a pea! :D

Just a lil wet varnish note. Cause when ya share a boat with a partner he may just pop by the boat shop and grab hold of the rail and mess up the fresh varnish smile.gif

Spent the night lightly sanding the peaks on the last coat then cleaned it with a mineral spirits damp rag, then a dry tack cloth then the Fifth coat of varnish down. Time to back up to the house.

Man, Phil CSOH is one smart dude. ;) You got that correct :D we often joke about Phil & I being like an old Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn, guess which one I am ;) But I kinda like working on the boat,. I have always liked the fixing as much as the sailing. I enjoy getting to know each part and cleaning and sanding and varnishing. It's a good thing when owning a woodenboat eh ? :D Also the boat is in my barn so it makes it very tempting to just go down to the barn for a little bit. Little bit turns into midnight more than a few times.

To be honest Phil has come over and given me a hand and he is working on the prep for the skiff cleaning and prepping her for a few coats of varnish. Also Phil is down in Louisiana doing some good deeds so he is forgiven. ;)

Oh and MMike yup thats blue masking tape and I can't wait to remove it ;)

Don't ever use that tape on a varnished surface.

I learned that the hard way.
