Made the weather news up here, but no details. Satelite UV photos looked rather ominous. Hope everybody is OK.

Innisfail is where Bernadette's parents live (and where Decatur was built). Hope they got through OK.

Major property and infrastructure damage. only minor injuries, no deaths from TC Larry.
A second cyclone is forming near Fiji.
This one has been christened Wati.

IanI had the same thought. I spent a couple weeks sight seeing between Townsville and Cairns less than two years ago so am quite familiar with that stretch of coast. I wanted to visit them and they invited me to see Decateur but as things turned out my schedule did not permit. Hope they are all well.

Hey Ian, have you heard how Bernadette's folks faired?
I guess the area was lucky Larry was moving fairly fast.If it had been like Tracy, there would have been far greater destruction.

Do you know if Bernadette has Decateur at Manly or elsewhere?

I get over to Manly every Friday night.

I believe she was headed for Manly - but not sure if that is where she ended up.
