Waione.... I know that boat. Did I tell you about it? ....ummmm probably not although I did mention it when it was happening. I think it came up somewhere once.
A man by the name of Rick Allender came along and filmed us a few times over 2 seasons as well as interview old owners. It was a great thrill for us to have this done and get some copies of the video for the kids and the future. That's Ricks website and I have no financial connection with it or him although he did ask if he could put my rather informal listing/ register of classic NZ yachts in as well.
If you read about my big score with the Winklemann photo in the last week or so, you would understand what a shame it is that that Lady hadn't come to light when the video was being made.
Anyway. It was a big thrill for us to get the video and I admire what Rick is doing.... getting a film database of these old girls. ( the boats that is)LOL
