Here's a pic of SNUPI's one of the two 8.5 Imp. gal., (85 lb. each), water ballast tanks.
The clear poly plumbing is not visible. The "deck fill" line runs thru the f-ward bulkhead
/ the "scoop fill" and drain lines run thru the companionway bulkhead on their way to the
transom valving which controls "filling" to both or either tank.
The tanks & baffles are fibreglass lined and have several coats of epoxy, then 2 coats
of Marine enamel. The tops are sealed with 3M 4200 and screwed down.
