Brad Indicott built his boat to my design, and he came into town. This is the first time I have seen his boat. It is nice to see what a real craftsman can to with this design, instead of a wood butcher like me.

Yes she does look beautifull, and they look very good together...
Mark,
Just curious, ever get your insurance / mooring situation strait?

You have the beginnings of a fine fleet there, Mark

It's got to be gratifying to see the first set sold actually end up as a boat. Well Done!

Mark, I remember your thread in which you were complaining that customers wanted to modify your designs.

Obviously no such problem there. She's as good looking as "Heart of Gold".

Congratulations, you are a bona fide designer now!

Don't Panic.

P.S. Wayne, that's Mark's own boat in the background. Check his website.

Is that the boat from WoodenBoat's launchings?

That's great Mark! As an occasional dreamer after similar dreams I've admired your design and boat since it first appeared in WB. Congratulations on selling some plans and seeing another boat built to them.

Don't quit your day job of living aboard and wandering the thin water in a wonderful, sharpie houseboat just yet! (pleasant chuckle).

Just to show that Mark was serious about Brad's craftsmanship:

Brad modified the design somewhat, basicaly the interior. I like mine better, but there are aspects of his that I like also. The main thing that he did was put a shower aft, and a permanant double bed. Mine has a convertible couch aft, with a nice desk oposite. He doesn't have as much bookshelf space as me.
