That's the Hodgdon 21, one of the last of that family of designs by Sonny Hodgdon (or his relations) of East Boothbay. Plans are available from WB. There are a couple of the wood ones in Boothbay and on Southport Island. At least one of those has the old Merriman bottom action sheet winches, which look to have been replaced on the boat in the picture.

If you have a copy of LF Herreshoff's 'Common Sense of Yacht Design', there's a picture of an earlier version, slightly narrower and with a more plumb bow, an even nicer boat IMO. One of those is/used to be in Christmas Cove also, moored in the cove to the right of that point where the lobsterboat is hauling.

This pic is Xmas Cove....thanks for info . smile.gif ...I just remembered ...I was told this one was designed by Starling Burgess.
