Take your time and enjoy the process. Likely you'll suffer "builder's withdrawal" when she's finally finished. Have you begun planning your next boat yet?

Nice tiller handle. Nice workbench, toolbox, and tools, too, by the way.

Haven't done much considering the time that has passed ...Did get my anthracite burning stoker to pump hot water through the floors though...and this is where most of my efforts have gone when getting shop time.
Plumbers turn their heads and laugh at my soldering...but it works....and now the shop is warm.

I keep finding myself buying more expensive hardware and at this stage with as much work as has been put in .I decided to keep as much of it as brassy/bronzy as I could....that the why of the pintle and gudgeons
http://www.orme.com/boat/P1010867.JPG
....I just couldn't do it!!!!! and the brass plates are $60.00ish from sailboatstuff.com and come with a key, which is the cheapest I could find and about half of what others charge

And here she is sitting waiting for some more clear coat , some sanding and the varnish.

I started on January 18th and it would have been nice to get her launched within the year...as my boated brothers at home keep asking "got a boat yet?" and then laughing when I tell them where I'm at.

I off to Mainland Godzone...the big NZ for my Mums 70th....and if I get the chance will toss two of my brothers off their boats into the water!

WOW nice job http://www.woodenboat-ubb.com/ubb/icons/icon14.gif Im struck with the similarities between your tiller design and the tiller on my Dove, an Atkins Active III

I'm curious is this a common tiller pattern?
