...since I have to sail to Denmark, because this year I will get my boat out of the water to do some serious work on the deck this was not the last sail.

30sm from Marstall, island Ærø, Denmark to Sonderborg, Denmark Wind blowing 7Bft SE...did it in 4,5 hrs. Freezing cold but lots of fun.

Some of the best cruises are in the cold ... sounds like a great way to spend a day to me!!!

Neat boat, too.

some of the best sailing, the breeze is fresh & the 'clutter' is off the water! ;)
Really nice pic. Martin.

Wohnen Sie in Flensburg?

Warum gehen Sie nach Dänemark, um Ihr Boot zu reparieren?

Is it heaps cheaper to go across the border to do such work? Or have I the whole story mixed up?

Cheers
Mark

Edited for German grammatical mistakes...

Oh please Mark - don't use the formal "Sie" on me. Informally you would always say "Du" - we don't call each other "Sir" here either :D

Well the Flensburg Bay is danish on one side anyway and since a friend of mine rented a shed on the danish side I will sail Sionnachan to Gråsten to be taken out.
