For the egg harbor lovers among us, they don't get much cheaper then this.

1965 Egg on eBay (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=80652&item=4533277515&rd=1)

Fire wood....
The hull was skinned over with 2 layers of ply set in epoxy and nailed with ring nails on 3" centers. Yikes!! Bad transom and no engines or running gear. You could buy a really nice 37 Egg for what it would cost to repair that thing.

$80 bucks...outrageous...he should have started at $20...it would have sold a little faster.

1695ad era....no wonder it needs work. all though the fact the pilgrims may have come over on it does add some value.

Uncas...the pilgrims came over in the thousands for years after the first boat load....it was a ferry service for a few years... tongue.gif

I don't know...perhaps you are right...John Wayne was always saying " welcome Pilgrim " or " Hello Pilgrim "...and that was in the 1980's...
As such though...After Charles 1st...1625-1649...I don't think there were many actual pilgrims hitting the ferries for a long long trip...

uanis stop high jacking this thread.
The auction ended with "buy it Now". Did anyone see how much that was? The starting bid was $80. They always start low to build interest and bids.

Pinky...why do you care about a bid on a boat as you have no interest in boats?...you would never buy one...
You just needed an excuse...any excuse to take a jab at me...Probably because I have a boat.
Does RFloyd779@aol.com ring a bell....? Looks familiar to me

Sorry Katherine...this is your thread...I'm done...
So have you been down to Miss. B lately? Have you had any chance to get any work done?

Hey Unc, no problem with the hijack. :D I'm going to my parents house theis weekend, so I'll get to check in on Miss B. Unfortunately it's too damn cold to do much on her since she's outside.

Katherine, from what I've experianced on this site, I think the only people who appreciate Egg Harbors may be you and I!

Bob, I don't think they have much respect for Owens either.

Hope you don't think I'm bashing...
In my opinion, theres nothing prettier than a nicely maintained older motoryacht.

I have respect for mr egg...just don't like the way their boats opened up....a few years back one young man had an Egg...he caulked it"real good"..he thought...no problem...as the boat slid the rail the water came in so fast it just sank on the rail. :D
